I’m a 40 something chap from Milton Keynes, England. I started the blog last year and filled it full of mostly banal waffle mainly for my own satisfaction I suppose. I’m a self-employed Graphic Designer. I’m married with four children aged 17, 16, 13 and 9 – three girls and a boy.

On 5 February 2008, my GP dropped the bombshell that I had a tumour. On 25 February, that tumour was confirmed as Osteosarcoma, a malignant bone tumour. There are approximately 400 cases each year in the UK and those are mostly found in children and young adults. So I’m doubly unlucky in that I’m statistically too old to have this!

After various treatments, including two lots of surgery, I’m still not clear of this vile disease. The battle continues, however.

I’ve decided to use the blog to do something more useful – keep family and friends in touch with how I’m getting on. It saves repeating myself. If you have a question, please leave me a comment and I’ll try to answer it as best I can.
